Design Engineer, Hugo de Wolf

When I first joined Corus, I never expected steel to be so exciting. Working as a researcher in the Prototype department of RD&T means that I am constantly at the cutting edge of research, facing different challenges every day and coming up with fresh ideas for developing new products.

I am employed as an industrial design engineer but the variety of my work is enormous. What I like the most is that I am given the freedom to come up with and pursue my own ideas.

I find that the people who work in RD&T are extremely helpful, sociable and open to new ideas.

I do make time for my favourite hobbies, which include among other things, photography and ocean boat racing.
