Corus Kids of Steel
The Corus Kids of Steel events have already introduced several thousand children across the UK to the sport of triathlon.
Corus works closely with British Triathlon to promote the sport at all levels. Since 2007 Kids of Steel events have taken place across the UK, encouraging children towards sport and a healthier lifestyle as well as providing a great day out for the local community. Corus staff have volunteered at events, enabling over 7000 children to run their first triathlon.
The format follows the form of a short swim of 40-60 metres, followed by a traffic free cycle of 800 – 1200 metres and a run of approximately 300 metres.
