Investment in environmental protection

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact whenever it is practicable and cost-effective to do so.

During 2007/08, a significant proportion of the capital investment across the Company related to schemes that improved our energy efficiency or reduced our environmental impact in some other way. Some of this investment is described later in this section of the report.
