How to use the CanRoute network

1. First, contact the Corus Steel Packaging Recycling Unit by emailing Garvin.Freeman@Corusgroup.com.
2. A representative will explain the scheme, and discuss all the necessary details with you concerning location, tonnage and price.
3. A representative may visit your facilities to ensure that the cans you wish to send conform to specifications and that you have the necessary waste disposal licence(s).
4. If all is in order, you will be given ‘Approved CanRoute Source’ status.
5. The Corus representative will tell you which local CanRoute centre is ready to receive your cans.
6. When you have a load of steel cans to deliver, inform the CanRoute centre.
7. The CanRoute centre will normally pay you on behalf of Corus for the cans within seven days of receipt of your invoice.
