What can you recycle?

Recyclable steel includes not just food cans, drink cans and pet food cans, but many aerosols, household and DIY product containers, tins for biscuits, sweets and spirits, and steel caps and lids.

Steel is magnetic, so you can use an ordinary household magnet to check whether cans and other packaging are made of steel and can be recycled.
