With a number of years experience within the UK market we have established a good understanding of our customer needs, enabling us to deliver a high level of customer service.
We currently export to Scandinavia, Italy, Spain and South Africa. Although we have this export capability, our main business activities tend to focus on our home market.
Our two primary market sectors are automotive and hydraulic with each taking about 40% of the annual sales. The stockist, aerospace and motor sport sectors are smaller but equally important to us.
Our production capability and central location enable us to offer a service for the high volumes demanded by the motor industry.
We supply both seamless and welded tube for a variety of applications where product integrity is the key attribute and the need for SPC techniques is essential.
These include valve rocker shafts, tie rods, steering column tubes, chassis components, roll bars and drive shafts. We also have the capability to meet your special requirements including close dimensional tolerances, short cut lengths and special bore finishes.
Our ability to supply your orders on a "Kanban" or "call off" basis is another essential for just in time processes used within the Automotive Industry.
We supply high integrity tubing - Skived and Roller Burnished I/D to exact tolerances and surface finish to meet the demanding needs of the Hydraulic Cylinder Industry.
Our tubes are suitable for skiving and burnishing or centreless grinding with minimum stock removal.
All of these products are made from either Cold Drawn Seamless or Cold Drawn Welded (DOM) tubing.
We work closely with our stockists to provide them with a service which enables them to minimise the costs of their business.
Special arrangements are made with regular customers to service sudden “stock outs” on short lead times and to hold strategic raw material stocks where appropriate.
We supply specialist sections, which are used in such applications as aircraft seating. We can include Aerospace steel grades such as T45 in our range of supply.
Manufacturers of motor sport equipment and vehicles require lightweight special shapes and profiles made from high strength steels such as 4130 and T45.
