Aludip product range

Standards

Standard Aludip for forming comprises six qualities that comply with EN 10327 : 2004 and a commercial quality (designated CQ) that is additional to those in the standard.

Aludip structural steels comply with EN 10326 : 2004.

Aludip high-integrity steels are available to EN 10327 : 2004 in grade DX51D+AS.

Coatings

All products have a hot-dip aluminium-silicon alloy coating (9-11% silicon).

Standard Aludip is available in a range of coating masses from 40-150g/m2 (minimum total both sides, triple spot).

The organic coatings on BQX and BQHE, in micrometres, are 17 one the topside and 10 on the reverse for BQX, and 25 and 10 for BQHE.

Thickness and width limits

Thickness: 0.5 – 2.0mm
Width: 600 – 1250mm

Tolerances are to EN 10143 : 1993.

Coil diameters and weights

Inside diameter: 610mm, or 508mm on request.
Outside diameter: Depends upon coil width. Please consult Corus.

Coil weight: 9-19 tonnes, depending upon coil width. Weights below 9 tonnes are available by arrangement.

Surface quality

To EN 10326 and EN 10327, 2004, surface quality B.

Surface treatment

Standard Aludip and Aludip BQ are available oiled, chemically passivated, or both.
