Aludip coated steels

The Aludip range of steels offers corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures and includes high-integrity steels for performance-critical applications.

Benefits

  • Superior corrosion resistance at high temperatures
  • Strength
  • Sag resistance
  • Heat resistance and reflectivity
  • Non-combustible
  • Tightly adherent coating
  • Zinc-free
  • Food safe (standard, unpassivated Aludip)
  • Pre-painted product (BQX)
  • Excellent base for post-painting (BQ)
  • Abrasion resistance (BQ)
  • Low radio-frequency interference
  • Forming, drawing and structural grades

Standard Aludip

Standard Aludip offers corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Typically used for exhaust systems, it is also used for domestic appliances, especially heating appliances, chimney flues and gas boiler heat exchangers.

Advantages of Aludip high-integrity steels

Aludip high-integrity steels offer three products for performance-critical applications. The range includes Aludip BQ, Aludip BQX and Aludip BQHE.

Aludip BQ (Building Quality)

The base product for the other two in the range.

Aludip BQX (Building Quality Extra)

With a protective organic coating on both sides.

Aludip BQHE (High Emissivity)

For applications that require the surface to absorb a high proportion of the ambient heat.
