Special profiles for earth moving equipment

We supply an extensive range of special profiles which are used for manufacturing different components:

• Track shoes: our range of “long bar” profiles is the most comprehensive in the world. We have the capability to manufacture profiles from 150mm to over 300mm wide in single, double and triple grouser (spike) designs. We offer a comprehensive range of ‘open roll’ profiles or unique designs, where rolls and tooling will be reserved for individual use.    
• Cutting edges: an extensive range of profiles for dozer blades, bucket protection and grader and scraper applications is available. This includes “open roll” profiles, as well as unique designs which are reserved for individual customers.              
• We also manufacture special profiles which are used to make components for other parts of earthmoving equipment. This includes frame sections, cross rail angles and idler rims.

We offer a range of steel specifications to suit different customer applications in the earth moving industry. This includes boron treated steels and high carbon steels. In particular, we have developed steel grades aimed at improving wear performance of machine components in the field. This recognises that machine ‘down time’ is a significant cost, and our ranges of carbon and lower sulphur steels improves crack resistance and provides higher levels of fracture toughness.
