Definition of Plate Levelling

To pass a plate through a series of rollers in order to achieve tighter tolerances of flatness.

The process is carried out at ambient temperature.

Equipment:

7 ROLL PLATE LEVELLING MACHINE
Machine Capacity

Using S275 material as an example the machine will level:

62mm thick and below at 2438mm wide
to 105mm thick at 762mm wide

For other material grades the thicknesses have to be proportionally reduced

Minimum plate length: 2500mm
