Drilling

More or less any dimension of hole can be drilled, up to 50mm in diameter and anywhere on the plate. Corus drilling service may not be appropriate for applications requiring fine tolerances or machine finished bores.

The drilling facilities within the Structural Workshops comprise fixed pillar drills and portable magnet drills:

The workshop drilling facilities are configured for work on general fabrication type work and are not compatible with fine tolerance work or machine finished bores

As a rule, holes up to 50mm diameter are acceptable and holing in excess of 50mm diameter must be referred to the Workshops.
