Bi-Steel is a Corus-patented construction material comprising two steel plates that are connected together to form panels by an array of friction welded transverse bars. These modular panels are the basis of all Bi-Steel structures. The panels can be quickly and easily fabricated on or off-site to create a wide range of structures. For most applications the Bi-Steel panels are filled with concrete after installation. It is this combination of a permanent steel formwork and concrete fill which makes Bi-Steel so fast to build and extremely strong in use.
