Finishing Processes Course
A steel mill requires senior operators and managers to be technically aware of both the processes in their own area of responsibility and those of other similar mills.
Our one-week residential course is designed to give an introduction and overview of the finishing processes of the carbon steel producers within Corus and how this impacts on customers.
Guest speakers are invited from all Corus Construction and Industrial mills.
Technical in-depth views of key finishing processes such as cooling, leveling, straightening, cutting, tracking, adding value to products, packing and presentation are interspersed throughout the week with more practical presentations. Logistics, customer and commercial issues are also covered.
