Product Design Support
To develop new steel products, expertise in designing using steel is indispensable, as is an in-depth understanding of steel characteristics, processing, decoration and mechanical performance.
The design group performs or facilitates the development of steel products, partly or in total. To support the different stages of the development or design we can:

Structure problem solving and idea generating sessions

Provide an intermediary between the customer and the different knowledge areas both inside and outside Corus RD&T (to obtain the necessary information)

Combine and translate the gathered information into a good design.

Using sketches and 3D modelling, provide a visualisation of ideas and concepts
