High Temperature X-ray Diffraction

It is often difficult or even impossible to understand processes occurring at high temperatures.

Conventional experimental approaches, for example quenching the sample from run temperature and investigating the sample at room temperatures, often leads to inconsistent results and is extremely time consuming.

We offer an X-ray diffraction system which enables X-ray patterns to be recorded at temperatures of up to 1900oC, under different atmospheric conditions. Our equipment allows the simulation of processes close to that of industrial applications.

Customer benefits

High-Temperature X-ray diffraction (HT-XRD) is an important analytical tool used to study chemical reactions, phase transformations and structural variations at elevated temperatures. Results are available quickly
