Tata Steel wins MAKE award for the fifth time

Tata Steel has won the Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise "MAKE Asia" award for the fifth time. The 2008 winners were recognised during a special Awards Ceremony at the 9th World Knowledge Forum in Seoul, Korea on 15th October 2008.
This is the fifth time that Tata Steel has been recognised as an Asian MAKE Winner and the first time Tata Steel has also been named as the overall Asian MAKE Winner. In 2006 Tata Steel was named in second place.
Tata Steel received the following accolades as part of MAKE award:
1. Knowledge-driven enterprise culture (1st place)
2. Developing knowledge workers through senior management leadership (1st place)
3. Delivering enterprise value based on customer knowledge (1st place)
The award was presented during a glittering ceremony held for the occasion and was received by Mr H.Jha (VP, Safety & LP) from Tata Steel.
