Price increases from 1 July 2007

Corus Strip Products UK has announced that from 1July it will increase the price of its hot-rolled products by £45 per tonne, cold-rolled products by £35 and hot-dip galvanised products by £20.

The announcement follows the 4th of June statement by Corus that it would be raising its third quarter prices.

During the second quarter, the business has seen stock levels in the UK market fall and has experienced good demand, which support these price increases.
