Corus to raise UK flat-rolled prices from 2nd quarter of 2007.

Following the announcement by the Strip Products Division on 22 January 2007 that it would raise its prices from the second quarter of this year, Corus Strip Products UK will increase its Q2 prices for all products by 5-7%.

The business is forecasting an improvement in stock levels going into Q2 complemented by strong demand, which is supporting price increases in the market.
