Corus Special Profiles

We supply a wide range of industries world-wide including earthmoving equipment, materials handling, shipbuilding and mining.

In 2006, Corus Special Profiles became the first business unit within the group to win a Queen's Award for Enterprise. This award is for International Trade, and recognises the exceptional growth which has been achieved in sales to overseas markets in the last three years.

Our manufacturing facilities are located at Skinningrove, on the North East coast of England and our steel supply is from Corus’ own world class quality steel making plant at Scunthorpe. At Skinningrove, we dedicate ourselves to the manufacture of special profiles, and currently we manufacture over 240,000 tonnes per year.

We are a specialist business unit within the Corus group and focus on developing long term relationships with our customers. Our strength is our ability to supply high quality “tailor made” products and services. Since manufacturing special profiles for the first time in the 1960’s, we have invested consistantly in our processes, our technology and training our people, to constantly improve the quality of our products and services.
