We concentrate on civil engineering, infrastructure and non-residential construction sectors plus oil, gas and energy related sectors, targeting customers who are geographically dislocated from their suppliers.

In New Zealand we have a substantial share of the stainless steel market, particularly in supplying light engineering and agriculture especially the dairy, wine and brewing industries from the Service Centre at East Tamaki and seven further sites holding stock around the country.

This is a service business operating from a low capital base and its people and their expertise represent the primary assets. The business places great importance on providing logistical, financial and technical services as an integral part of its business offering.

The current business is the nucleus of a growing business. Significant expansion is planned in the next few years to position Corus International to exploit the emerging opportunities in Australasia and from World trade in general.
