Corus International Asia

Commercial and administration service to the region is provided by the Regional Head Office in Hong Kong. The business works closely with Corus International Trading whose Asian Head Office is also in Hong Kong.

As with all the Corus International businesses, the business mission is to provide large international customers with a comprehensive supply chain management service for steel, aluminium and associated products and services. We concentrate on manufacturing, infrastructure and non-residential construction sectors plus oil, gas and energy related sectors, targeting customers geographically dislocated from their suppliers. This is a service business operating from a low capital base and its people and their expertise represent the primary assets. The business places great importance on providing logistical, financial and technical services as an integral part of its business offering. Although we have key customers at the contractor and fabricator level, the opportunity is increasingly being taken to influence the business during the early stages at specifiers' level, as well as focusing at servicing end customers.

The current business is the nucleus of a growing business. A growth plan is being developed to expand the business, both in current sectors in which it operates and into new areas.
