Corus is organised into three operating divisions: Strip Products, Long Products and Distribution and Building Systems. Each of these has a number of businesses within it.
In addition, the business unit Corus Consulting is part of the corporate centre.
Strip Products Division
Corus Strip Products IJmuiden and Corus Strip Products UK - hot rolled steel strip and cold rolled and metallic coated steel
Corus Packaging Plus - light gauge coated steel for packaging and non-packaging applications
Corus Colors - pre-finished steels
Corus Special Strip - plated precision strip products with specialist finishes
Cogent Power - electrical steels and transformer cores
Long Products Division
Corus Long Products:
- Corus Construction & Industrial - plate, sections, wire rod and semi-finished steel, railway products and services, special profiles and engineering services
- Engineering Steels - engineering billet, straight and cooled bar, turned drawn or ground bar and hot rolled narrow strip
Corus Tubes - steel tubes, hollow sections, linepipe and pipeline project management
Teesside Cast Products - slab & bloom
Distribution & Building Systems Division
Corus Distribution UK & Ireland - service centres and further material processing in the UK and Ireland
Corus Distribution Europe - service centres and further material processing across Europe
Corus Building Systems - steel building systems
Kalzip - aluminium building systems
Tata Steel International - tailored product and service solutions for international projects and international trade
