Geraint Davies, Port Talbot Technical
During my time as a Functional Trainee I was placed in various roles within the Technical Department based in Port Talbot.
Jonathan Tossell, Accounting Department, Finance
I started employment with Corus in November 2005. For the past four months I have been a member of the Accounting Department based in the General Offices, Port Talbot.
Dean Beirne, Quality Design, Product and Market Development
Through my Functional Traineeship, I have been based within the Quality Design department at Llanwern.
Helena Pot, Delivery Operations, Supply Chain
Since joining the company in October last year I have been working for the Delivery Operations Department in Port Talbot. This has included spending time in the Shipping Agency, Health and Safety office and working on departmental projects.
Huw Morgan, Functional Trainee, Planning, Supply Chain
Since beginning my role within the Planning Department during early October I have evolved as a Corus employee and as a person.
Katie Davies – Accountant Hot Rolled Products
I began my Finance Functional Traineeship in November 2005 after completing my A-levels. I was interested in the role for various reasons ranging from having the opportunity to study while working full-time to playing a part in the business that is Corus.
Kelly Wilcock – Human Resources
I started at Corus as a Human Resources Functional Trainee at the end of October 2007. Although I have only been here for a short amount of time I have experienced a vast amount of different aspects of not only HR, but also the business as a whole.
Selina Clark, Customer Services, Commercial
For the past six months I have been a member of the Order Service Team within Supply Chain based in Commercial HQ, Llanwern. My primary role is to provide order progress information for Corus Strip Products customers on a daily basis.
