The Corus placement student package
A placement at Corus allows you the opportunity to work in a multi-national business and receive first class training and experience while earning £14,500 per annum.
Placements can last from 3 months to a year, training is tailored to meet your individual needs and the needs of your placement role, and is mostly on the job. You can expect regular meetings with your manager to assess your performance.
Sponsorship
As a placement student in the UK, if you successfully complete at least a 3-month placement you are eligible to apply for sponsorship from Corus. This comprises of £1,500 given in 3 installments of £500, one per academic term. Continued sponsorship throughout the academic year is dependent on you achieving at least a 2:1 average and good reports from your university tutor.
Our Netherlands site takes on approximately 10 placement students a year, but does not offer sponsorship to placement students.
