Corus central training
Within the first few days of joining Corus you will attend a UK wide induction event at our training facility at Ashorne Hill in Warwickshire.
There, you will meet up with over 100 fellow graduate recruits who may well be embarking on similar careers to you but in another Corus business or location.
The purpose of the event is to network amongst your peers, widen people’s awareness of the Corus business and provide valuable skills for use in the workplace. Specifically, the event will be run over 2 days in September each year and may include presentations from senior directors, briefings on various aspects of the business and generally complement any local inductions with a wider understanding of our company.
At intervals of between 12 to 18 months, this graduate peer group will return to Ashorne Hill where additional events will cater for the appropriate skills needed at that stage of your development. These events may have a more career-focused emphasis and will enable you to appreciate the opportunities that may well be available outside of the business you were first recruited into. They also give you a chance to benchmark yourself against your fellow graduates and learn from each other’s experiences of life in Corus.
