Process Control and Automation Engineering
Corus production is controlled and monitored through highly automated, computer based systems. PC&A engineers, skilled in application computers, software, control and instrumentation technology, will have challenging careers to ensure the plant is operated to optimise performance.
You may develop as the specialist engineer managing an automated rolling mill or as the software engineer setting up the models to optimise a Blast Furnace. This is a role ever changing and advancing which requires graduates who are interested in the potential of modern electronics in industry.
Degrees Required:
Ideally 1st, 2:1 or equivalent.
A relevant degree subject, e.g; Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computing
