Engineering
Engineering Apprentices undertake a 12 month foundation programme, during this period they will gain an NVQ 2 in Performing Engineering Operations.
Further training, usually lasting three years, consists of placements within appropriate areas of Shotton Works leading to an NVQ level 3, with an option to study for HNC.
Entry Requirements
The scheme is open to individuals 16 years and upwards and the minimum academic qualification for application is GCSE Grade C or above in English Language, Maths, Science / Technology.
